How do those discount online stores work?

I found several online stores that sell brand name items for a REALLY, REALLY cheap price; how does that work? Is it a scam?

    Chances are it’s wholesale.Which most of the time they look at the real designs and make copies.
    some sites can have great quality while others can just suck.So make sure the image is believable,like on a mannequin.Oh and some sites can be a scam so just search around on the web for reviews for a website that you wanna shop at to see.It’s kinda like how in California they have random shops that have name brands for really cheap, except online.
