What is the easiest way to save money?

I want to save money for a Mac book Air and it is 1,799.00 and with sales tax it is almost 2,000. I am not good at saving money at all so i also need tips on how to avoid the temptation to spend. So basically I just need a quick and easy way to save money. By the way I am only 13 so I don’t have a job.

Saving money is not easy as you need self-control. I would suggest you open a bank account and do not get a card to it. It will make withdrawing money more difficult. Every time you have some money left – put it there. You planned to spend $50 but spend only $45 on something? Put the saved $5 there. Dollar to dollar and you will see the money growing :)

    Buy only what you Absolutely have to. Keep a jar in your room marked Mac book Air, and drop your change in the jar at the end of the day. Seeing your change add up will help you save. Don’t spend money on sodas, coffees, gum, candy. Take snacks and drinks from home instead of buying them from convince stores or machines. If you and your friends go shopping don’t take any cash with you.

    The first thing you need to do is to be able to keep track of everything. This means that you need to develop the discipline to record how much money is coming in as well as how much money is coming out. Only by doing this will you have enough control over your money to be able to determine where you can save the most amount of money.
